From Wine Seller to Vice-President
Interior design has always been a part of Lin’s life as she is gifted artistically with an acute taste in aesthetics. She didn’t go to school training to be a interior designer, actually she just ended her education in middle school. In 1994, she left her mother town Ha’er Bin at age of 16 and came to Shen Zhen alone, that destined her life would be huge changed forever.
She worked as a wine seller at some hotel club for first two years in SZ. In the day, she went to some training center for learning accounting and English that she always interested in.
Two years went by, her job promoted from wine seller to secretary of wine selling department for her excellent capacity. In those two years, other wine sellers came and left constantly, only she remained last. She learn the whole operate modes of a hotel when she third promoted as an assistant of Entertainment Department manager.
She kept working super hard in next five years, when she was reaching 25, she thoroughly turned herself from innocent girl into a powerful mature woman. The hotel president is highly regarded her as a pillar. The department was very successful under her management.
As hotel industry was developing day by day, competing became extremely fierce than ever. The hotel main income is form hotel entertainment center. Once, Lin got a huge project assignment for night club re-set which is including the interior decoration. She took the entire project from scratch, she didn’t hire a designer for a help, every thing from office file cabinet, partition panel to bar light, music, AV furniture, interior decoration, space plans, color schemes……are all chosen by her. She didn’t take any course in aesthetics, but she born with it. The project complete after a few months later come out with a remarkable unique interior design style without conjecturable decorate cost. Actually, Lin spent much less expense than hotel president predicted.
Lin not only saved expenses for hotel, but also drive the hotel earning surged 81 percent in 2003 to RMB1.5 million..
Last year, Lin got promoted to be a vice-present of the Hotel and yet she is in age of 29.
